DaVero Farms & Winery
We focus on the winegrapes of Italy, for the simple reason that both our climate and our latitude are virtually indistinguishable from that of the Mediterranean. We farm Biodynamically, and make our wines completely naturally.
Our core philosophy is summed up in our mantra: "Grow what belongs here. Be patient."
We got our start over 30 years ago when we imported olive trees from an 800-year-old grove outside the walled city of Lucca, in Tuscany.
We were pioneers in the revival of the California olive oil industry, and our oil is considered one of the best in the world.
